:BatgirlBeyond: The New Red X

Ah yes, two guys in a row! This time on a younger scale than old Dick Grayson. I had to draw this at least 3 or 4 times, since I'm not attuned to drawing guys, let alone guys in skin-tight suits. But coloring him was the fun part. Gotta love a guy in black! About the only thing I changed about this version of Red X from the original is no cape, since capes are virtually non-existant in the Batman Beyond universe, I figured I should stick with the theme. And I must say, it's not bad. Not bad at all.

I admit it... I've always been a closet Red X fan, and I decided to bring him into Act 4 of my Batgirl Beyond story, as he's such a presence to Robin/Dick Grayson in Teen Titans. At first because Robin/Dick Grayson WAS Red X in order to try and get close to Slade, then later the suit was stolen from Titans Tower by someone suspected of being Jason Todd.

So, this is my 'slightly updated' version of Red X, having been passed down from grandfather to possible grandson. As you can see, this guy's frame is a lot taller and not nearly as lean as the Robin Red X, or even the dude after Robin who used the suit. But he is still quite skillful, and when he appears in Gotham City at the time of Act 4 of my fanfiction, the user is already quite skilled and can even give Titania a run for her money in combat. He also can't resist flirting with Batgirl and never misses a chance to, even though they are currently on opposite sides of the playing field so to speak. That is partly due to Robin/Dick Grayson's history, and the current Red X's choices on who's 'side' he's on.
