Free General Fanart, FC and OC Request Work

So today I just received a major bombshell. My dad has a brain tumor. No matter how I look at it right now, it's scary. I've already decided to put 's comic on hiatus, indefinitely, and told her. So for those who were enjoying reading it, I'm sorry. I'm gonna try and finish that kiriban, but I am just not sure of anything yet.

After running the idea by , I decided NOT to have any commissions for at least a little while. Not that I've gotten any... ANY. I'm dissappointed in the dA community, honestly. So from now on unless I get approached personally from someone who's interested, I'm not gonna be putting anything out for commissions.

My mind is just in a fog right now, guys. Seriously. And I don't need any comments about how I should 'do this' or 'do that'. Or 'feel this' or 'feel that'. The only people I need to hear that from, I communicate either in email or text message on my phone.

From here on out, until things start to improve with my father unit, my art is just gonna be my art. My therapy, and my means of holding on to sanity during this time when I could very well loose my only, beloved father. My older brother has already lost his biological dad, and now he is coming close to loosing his step father if things go in the worst possible direction.

I know I said ages ago that I'd stop making personal entries, but I think this one deserves the announcement so people won't be expecting much from me on any specific time scale. I'm well aware of the fact that I've never been very punctual here as it is, but still. My point remains valid.

I'm sorry guys, but this is as far as I'm going right now. I may post something in the future, but it all depends on how I'm handling things.

NOTE: My 5 requests per month slots have already been filled for THIS month; however, next month I will be open to 4 more requests around Easter. Usually I will try to do 5 free requests during the months which possess holidays (i.e. February for Valentines; March for St. Patty's Day; April for Easter; July for Independence Day; October for Halloween; and December for Christmas and New Year's).

GENERAL FANART, FAN CHARACTER, and ORIGINAL CHARACTER REQUESTS


~ I do mainly fanart on the whole (such as Winx Club, Sailormoon, W.I.T.C.H., etc), as well as mild romance featured within it.

~ I can and do take FC (fan characters) and OC (original characters) requests, as well.

~ If I am unfamiilar with a particular anime/manga that a requester wishes a drawing to be done after, references will be needed. This also goes for your FCs and OCs, that is, requiring references of some kind.

~ On average, I usually take between a day to perhaps a week, at max, to complete your request, depending upon the work size of the request, as well as any real life happenings which may get in the way at the time.

~ My lineart work is usually the first to be put up (before coloring, if that's a part of the request, anyway), which can be completed anywhere between 5 to 9 hours or so, again, depending upon the work size.
